Almost 200 Northern entrepreneurs gathered at the beautiful Tennants Auctioneers for the second Northern Family Business Conference. Jam-packed with incredible speakers, the day provided insights into some iconic and incredible family firms and their own secrets to success. The theme of the day was ‘Family firms in the Digital Age‘ exploring how family-run business can keep up with the latest innovations and trends in technology, web and social media.
Helen detailed the history of Agencia from its inception in 1997, to her own personal transition as her father, Andrew phases himself out leaving Helen in charge. Sharing her personal experiences, the troubles and the successes, guests had a fabulous session and walked away with their notebooks brimming full of real and practical advice to take back to their own family firm.
