The Gala Dinner is a prestigious gathering of business school leaders from around the world, distinguished MBA alumni and journalists. The 2011 black tie event was held at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London and the guest speaker was Lord Karan Bilimoria CBE DL, Founder and Chair of Cobra Beer.
Helen joined business school staff including the new Dean, Professor Terry Williams, Barbara Allan (Deputy Dean) and corporate partners. Commenting on the dinner, Helen said: “I was privileged to be invited to this special occasion. It is a key opportunity in the business school year to come together over food and music to network and celebrate the successes of business schools.”
Since graduating from her MBA in 2006, Helen has been a keen supporter of the University of Hull Business School. She has contributed to helping the school achieve its AACSB accreditation, the European Foundation for Management Development quality mark, EQUIS, and the Association of MBA (AMBA) accreditation for the MBA programme. She is also on the Advisory Board for the Business Analytics and Consulting Practice MSc.
