
Alison joined the team this month, and is supporting service users to build recovery into all aspects of their lives. Alison said: “I am privileged to be involved with this new and innovative service. I am really looking forward to encouraging ambition, motivation and support to individuals to become free from their problematic drug use.”
Graeme Dixon, Operational Manager for the service said: “I am thrilled to have been able to appoint Alison to our team. She has worked in drug and alcohol services since 2005 in a variety of settings including young people’s drug and alcohol services, criminal justice and in the community. Alison’s team was short listed by the National Treatment Agency for a ‘Recovery Award’ in 2009 and she brings a fantastic range of skills, experience and ideas to the North Lincolnshire Service.”

About the Active Recovery service
Combining clinical and psychosocial interventions, this new service went live at the beginning of April 2014. The Agencia service meets the prescribing needs of registered users and a wide range of support will help them to build recovery into all aspects of their lives. The role of Agencia includes providing constructive challenge to individual service users, and the partnership of organisations involved, in order to maximise recovery outcomes.
