The experiences of young people accessing local specialist mental health services are to help shape the future of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire following a public engagement exercise earlier this year.
The public engagement, on behalf of NHS East Riding of Yorkshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), NHS Hull CCG, East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Hull City Council, captured the views of young service users, their families and professionals working with young people via questionnaires and focus groups. Around 300 people participated during the engagement period between January and May 2013.
