Such radical changes are accompanied by risks to the maintenance of performance, strategic development and staff morale. Determined to minimise and manage these risks, several Probation Trusts have turned to Agencia for support. Agencia is currently working with both London and Derbyshire Probation Trusts helping their management teams to meet the challenges that such a significant change will bring to individuals, those staff they are responsible for and the Trust.
Agencia’s Senior Consultant, Dr Stephen Goode is leading these programmes. A former Chief Executive of a Probation Trust, and Deputy Director at the National Offender Management Service, Stephen has also worked in the Ministry of Justice and NHS at a variety of levels. He says “Agencia is providing a structured approach to help Probation Trusts. This includes, supporting them to consider how to meet both the internal and external challenges and identify how best to manage the complexity of the change process for staff at all levels.”
Benefits of using Agencia:
What Probation Trusts Say About Agencia
"The seminar Agencia facilitated was helpful in assisting us to focus our thinking and I found their formal input on different commissioning models to be a good opener for us."
Mike Maiden, Chief Executive, Staffordshire & West Midlands Probation Trust
“There are real benefits in hearing how other parts of the public sector have embraced commissioning, and being challenged in our thinking. I appreciate what Agencia can offer as a sounding board as our Trust responds to the new commissioning environment for offender management.”
Pete Brown, Chief Probation Officer for York & North Yorkshire Probation Trust
