Agencia has been selected to join a unique Integrated Health and Care trade event in China. The event has the support of UK Ministers, including Jeremy Hunt, UK Secretary of State for Health. Yorkshire-based family-owned and run firm, Agencia, is one of several leading UK healthcare companies and institutions joining the mission to Hangzhou, Shanghai, Guangzhou/Shenzhen and Hong Kong on 5-12 December 2016. Agencia will be showcasing its pioneering expertise (which ranges from dementia to substance misuse services), and engaging with Chinese customers in response to demand from the China market.
The mission aims to meet the demands of the Health Reform in China which will see the country shift away from its current hospital-centric model, to one focused on health outcomes that is centred on primary care. Agencia has been selected for its interest and capability to export its expertise to China on a range of health and care services that meet the needs of people living at home or in community settings.
