Agencia has been proactively strengthening its links with China since 2014. This culminated in a recent invitation for Agencia to visit elderly care organisations in Beijing.
Speaking about the visit, Agencia's Managing Director, Helen Gibson said “With China's one child policy set to impact over the next 15 years by 2020, China will need double the current level of beds in residential homes for the elderly, therefore there is an urgent need to improve the volume and quality standards across an increasingly disparate provider base.
The UK has the number one healthcare system in the world, and Agencia’s recent experience of redesigning older people’s services, including residential care homes and specialist care provision such as mental health services, e.g. dementia, geriatric and rehabilitative services, is highly regarded and in demand in China. We look forward to developing our work in China over the coming months.”
