Heath & Social Care Director
Linda joins the Agencia team with wide experience in strategic and senior roles in private legal practice and front line public service design and delivery, latterly in the ethnically-diverse London Borough of Newham where she was most recently Acting Chief Executive for Caritas Anchor House (CAH).
Linda joined CAH in 2010 where she was Director of Policy and Partnerships before becoming Director of Operations. She progressed to Deputy Chief Executive and then Acting Chief Executive during which time CAH was the winner of The Biggest Win at the Citizens UK Awards for campaigning for affordable housing and winner of Newham Chamber of Commerce Community Involvement Award. In 2016/17 CAH supported 260 single homeless men and women, most with complex substance misuse issues, mental ill-health and/or offending histories.
A Lawyer by background, Linda has held a number of health and justice roles prior to joining CAH including being the Community Justice Newham Project Lead for the Ministry of Justice, Bench Chair at Stratford Magistrates’ Court, London, Honorary Associate Hospital Manager, North East London NHS (Mental Health), Director of Training at Barlow, Lyde & Gilbert, Solicitors, City of London and research work at the House of Commons.
Linda is also an Executive Coach to leaders across a breadth of sectors with a focus on transformational leadership and achieving impact. With a long record of public service, she is a Fellow of the RSA and was a Magistrate for 17 years.
