As a participant, we are committed to making the UN Global Compact and its principles part of the strategy, culture and day-to-day operations of Agencia, and to engage in collaborative projects which advance the broader development goals of the United Nations, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals. As a statement of our commitment, we will deliver on the following principles:
Set in motion changes to business operations, so that the UN Global Compact and their Ten Principles become part of our strategy, culture and day-to-day operations, including in subsidiaries and the supply chain;
Advocate the UN Global Compact and the Ten Principles via available communications channels; and
Communicate annually with our stakeholders on efforts to implement the UN Global Compact principles and post this Communication on Progress (COP) on the UN Global Compact website.
We also express our intent to implement the principles of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
Agencia’s Managing Director Helen Gibson said: “We are delighted to have been accepted on to the register of participants for the United Nations Global Compact. We have been working internationally for over 21 years with clients and stakeholders which include the EU, USAID and numerous governments around the world; all our work is geared towards transforming lives in the judicial and health arenas. Being a part of the UN Global Compact will help us enhance the contribution we make in support of the broader UN goals, which will in turn make a positive difference to people’s lives.”
